I love the way your poetry ranges from cozy to tragic - as here. No subject is taboo for you . This poem is one of my favorites of yours. "The shades come down" is exactly right." fo rthe feeling I have felt around sudden death. And of course I feel sadness for this loss of life, especially for his family.
Thank you, Victoria. No one knows like one who has been through a major loss. I realize at my age now most people have been through it. May we continue to heal and reach out to others. I know you do that each day with your career!

Aww, so sad. Does make for an interesting discussion on how social media has changed how we interact with each other.
Nothing to say but how very very sad, and you captured the loss well, Judy.
So very hard, Judy to lose a child. Not the way it is supposed to be.
You are right, Mary Mansfield. I "met" Mary Ann on facebook and most of our correspondence is fb.
Sad stone.
