Gathering Fellows

We gather to poem, the poets and I,
in the months of April and November.
We ponder, write, and share the angst
of producing that poem a day.

I like being surrounded, if only online,
by those who write poetry and prose.
This connection through stanzas and lines,
gathered fellows of the word, we poem.

There is something very special about writing with others who also love to write. Whether it be April or November or whenever. Writing may be a solitary endeavor, but after the creation it is the sharing that warms the heart.

I know what you mean here Judy. It is so wonderful to write WITH others. This is a good angle to take on this prompt, too, creative.

Great poem! Sometimes it's nice to be reminded we're not making our literary trek alone :)

I love this - it is definitely all you other poets out there who keep me writing:)
