Christmas is over.
I consider what comes next
while I still bask in
joy, warmth, and love today
from precious family times.
I look forward -- a new year.

So glad to see you writing again and love this poem of happiness. It would be perfect for this weeks Poetry Jam prompt as well.

Precisely. Why do we only enjoy the blessings of the moment for amoment? I am a "basker"; like you, I have learned to treasure every moment.

Don't worry Hot Cross Buns are in the shops here and it is less than 200 days until the carols are being played in the supermarkets again.
