Substinence

Diet in black cursive,
Coke in red block letters,
12 FL OZ,
all on a gray paper band
around the shapely plastic bottle.
My refreshment, my vice.

Interesting poem, Judy. I wonder how many times people's refreshment is also their vice.

I'm with Bill for drinks and Bob's with you. I like this though as the subject for a stone poem, something manmade and so every day. I think I don't tend to really look at things like that. This poem makes a good teaching point.

Not a bad vice, all things considered, Judy. My own vice is coffee, also not bad as I undersand it.

Victoria, I try to be more nature for small stones but as I understand it is a small moment in your day..diet coke is many small moments of my every day. LOL I am hoping in time that I will get closer in for that small stone.

Ann, I just heard on the news that coffee is good (two or three cups a day) to prevent Alzeimers. Could it be true?? If so I'll drink five or six just to make sure. LOL

Judy, our vice is the same...you've inspired me...perhaps I'll devote a small stone to the Nectar of the Gods (aka Diet Coke) too...:) Love your blog!

I call it Satan's Syrup and gave it up. I try to prevent Russ from drinking it, but now and then he buys it and I just say Satan's Syrup.

How funny, Willow. That would it explain why it tastes so good! Nothing that good is good for you!

Excellent stone Judy. You have a very harmless vice I think! (Diet Coke).
