When You Aren’t Looking

Brilliant colors incorporate
on the black and white background

A childs first mumbling words
recited like a bird’s cawing

Cascading brooks glisten
over cool mountain stones

Loved one glances at you
with eyes that say forever

Just when we aren’t paying attention
glorious and abundant happens.

Lovely description of how the world goes on, beautifully, when we aren't looking!

And thank goodness for the gift of good things that go on even when we are not looking.

I love this reminds me of what I mentioned in my Reflection post. The gift of ordinary joy; it is there waiting for us to see it, partake~

Verse 4. I can see my kids eyes and the trust and love. So totally dependent on you when they are babes. Should be a litmus test to have kids. :)

I like the focus on the positive things that happen out of the blue. it is so easy for me to focus on the scary things that come unexpected.
