Tome

The book of my life
three fourths through
most powerful
between the lines

The jacket I’ve chosen
etched in my mind
three scenes now
represent my life

Ominous clouds
fear in child's eye
views
through barbed wire fence

Puffy clouds in azure sky
aqua blue water
a bridge
stretches one end to next

The last picture unclear
I can make out a home
blown up
debris all around

A fourth picture waits
I have paintbrush in hand
I want a sailboat
set out to sea

I like your collage of pictures and wish you your sail boat. I also like the new spiral background on your blog.

Great concept...well executed. That last picture will be the best. Good job, Vb

Each chapter tells a wee story, may your last one be as happy as that sailboat.

I love what you did with this prompt from the photo of the books. Your craft has grown so much Judy. You continue to amaze me.
