Dare

Dare to explore. You don’t
have to be so practical here.
I talk to myself.
Find the essence and expound.
Don’t go all black and white, Judy,
live in shades of gray at times, dare
to find new feelings, other worlds,
even new beings, just be open .

Such good advice Judy--yes, dare to be open and explore. Go for the raspberry not just gray.

War cry. I like your sound, warm and defiant

Clever approach to this prompt. I like the conversation with yourself and in particular the lines where you dare yourself to live with grey.

Good advice to self. Self love is talking to self in a nurturing way.

Your poem is a salutary lesson to me!

Wouldn't it be great if we each printed this out, pasted it on our bathroom mirrors, and read it aloud each morning to that individual we are staring at? Just plain common sense, but what a difference that could make,
