Hopes For My Children

Dear ones,

I wish you a life
free from fears that stalk
and monsters that masquerade.
My hope is that you always look
and find beauty in this world,
take note and celebrate
the blessings in your lives.

What a beautiful thought, Judy. I especially like "monsters that masquerade." So alliterative and descriptive!

Beautiful hopes. I, too, like "monsters that masquerade" and "fears that stalk". We all, no matter how black everything feels, should "look and find beauty."

I like these hopes Judy--who could ask for more! Did you mean to have the different sized fonts in the poem?

Powerful wishes, Judy. Keep the monsters away. They are my wishes too.

The image of masquerading monsters is powerful.Asis "fears that stalk". Great wish for their safety and ability to "look and find beauty."
