What Scares Me

I have been a writer, a poet,
and an artist for thirteen
years, ever since my son
passed away.

Those facts have given
me solace, comfort, pride,
and a reason to breathe.

What scares me most
is the loss of writing,
or painting, or having
meaning to my life.

I understand the fear, Judy, but we just have to continue to create.....as that is who we are!

That would be a worry, Judy. One step, one word at a time.

I understand the fear Judy, and yet I truly believe that your creative identity is something that you can't lose - not like money or health. It flows from your essence and I think it's yours to keep. I'm so glad you share it.

Judy you have built yourself into an amazing person in the years since B died. I can understand your fear well. Hugs.
