cold, ungiving, unfeeling.
The sun comes up - I find a cave.
January and February
are hibernating months.
He calls me again, his voice
a new pitch of buttery-yellowover my gray fog. Honey, he says,
I’m so excited about this house.
I look forward to us being there ,
starting life over this one last time.
I come out of hibernation,
greet the radiant sun, try to meetexpectations. It works like a charm.
I acted and now I am.

I love your spirit, Judy. I'm not as easily roused from the feeling of hibernating in January and February.
Ah the old "act as if." Glad to hear Bill is so excited about your new house.
Ah yes, Judy. "Act as if...." It so often works miracles. It so often changes hearts. It so often makes it possible.....
I love the love between you and Bill. It really shines on the possibilities open to us humans.
Ooooh, a new house for spring. Lovely!
That first verse was poetic perfection!
'I acted and now I am'......I have always 'kidded myself' and tricked myself into the mood I desired.
I identify! I always say I fake it yntil I make it.
I acted and now I am - that's good advice.
great charming work.

what a reply to Descartes's I Think therefore I am! incisive lines.
Oh that last line is one of life's greatest truths. Be the _____ you want to see. It works.
