I Am

The seas and storms buffet and blast, the winds
always changing direction.  Go there now
and stand, it won’t be easy, a storm is coming.
Between tempests, the still voice says from
experience, I can promise you sunshine,
a muse within reach, fun times and people
you will grow close to, more family to love,
and caring that will make the world a better place.

Persevere now for another patch of wild flowers later,
Reds and yellows so intoxicating your heart will stop
for a moment.   You won’t see them right away,
you have to focus.

So much truth here, Judy. Storms followed by sun, followed by storms again. Wild flowers always give hope. Thank goodness for sunshine.

What a wonderfully hopeful and positive I Am poem! Lots of truth buried in this, a poem to be reread and reread.
