Mother Nature...one day balmy breezes, the next day destruction.
Destruction is rampant in this horrible incident of nature.
Excellent Frost poem Judy! Nature reminding us who is really the boss!
Thanks for bringing this to the Big Tent community.
Oh, so true. Beautifully shown.
Frighteningly true... the power of the sea. The damage in Japan, which suffered perhaps the largest earthquake ever recorded, and the accompanying tsunami, is astronomical. Many dead, like Sumatra. That wave in your image... oh! yes.
Beautifully done Judy.
Very apropos and, sadly, true.
I like this, Judy. Form is appealing, word choice exact.
I am glad you wrote about this subject - I was hoping someone would...hopefully there will be more...nice writing...bkm
Judy,Brave of you to 'take on' a still-unfolding horror. Let's wish the best -- certainly your poem's extending them the distant kindness we canTrulyfool
Hard hitting as it's title
This is so close to home living on the beach in So. Caliwarnya.
In Japan it unfortunately didn't stop with a tsunami. Nuclear disasters followed too. Even i am beginning to think that 'destructive forces rule the lands'. Great endings.
