No Green:

(Not Sap, Thalo, Hookers, Lime, Celadon, Olive,
Jade, Phthalo, Viridian, Forest, Army, or Verdigris)

Green is not a color for a car of mine,

a house either, nor the walls inside.

It’s not a choice for me, not because

I don’t care for the color green, but rather

green has too much competition with the grass,

the trees, and the shrubbery. No green can

compare to the shades, hues, and the range

of green seen outside my door.

There's a lot of truth to that. I live in the Sonora Desert, so I create lot of my own green!

I never thought about that, Kim. Makes a lot of sense. :)

Your poetry blog here is looking impressive Judy. And yes, that outside green in hard to duplicate or compete with--of course I live the the semi-desert of S California so we don't have as much competition!
