Enough

My dear friend Victoria
taught me much from her writings.
She uses words like sufficient and adequate.
Her words calm me, take me from the fray
and give me permission to be no more
right now than what I am, enough.

Beautifuly expressed, Judy. Sometimes in simplicity can be found the profound.

Yes, Judy, you are enough, you are more than enough, a complex, diverse woman with so many gifts that you share freely.

Wonderful tribute to Victoria and her great belief in enough.

A excellent use made of minimal space. There's a skill in the discipline of compression.

I like how you start with the friend and end with the narrator, and of course, it being enough.

And welcome to the Tent, too!

Thank you Judy. The concept of sufficiency is very calming to me and I am glad I can pass that calming along. I feel touched, honored, tender with regard to being thanked in a poem. You are indeed a woman who has found and continues to find enough in herself to thrive in face of major challenges.
