she spends the day
so we can catch up on our lives.

She had a rare cancer

it’s in remission
she’s living the gift of life.

I want to start

a writing group
right here in my neighborhood.

The woman who would help

died of a heart attack
unexpectedly, in the middle of the night.

He died today, her son died
He was getting better she thought.
