I Write

Somewhere between anger and tears is a
place where I live most days. Drenched in tears
I find myself incapacitated like a jelly fish
in desert sand. I aspire to anger more, that
place of action where I can hit a wall, or scream
or write as fast as my fingers will move
across the keyboard or onto stiff backed legal pad,
pen in hand rarely paused I write:
I hate, I can’t stand, I deplore, I rage at, I spit,
I curse all including myself, most especially
myself. I curse. I rant. I scream. I write.
